How to Reset the 100Fio Networks Station M5

On this page we will show you how to reset your 100Fio-Networks Station-M5 router to the original factory defaults. There is some confusion on the difference between resetting and rebooting a router. Rebooting is simply turning your router off and then back on again to cycle the power. Resetting the router takes away all your personal configurations and resets them to factory settings.

Warning: Since this deletes all your configurations you have made you need to be careful. Below is a partial list of some things may need to be reconfigured.

  • the router username and password
  • the Internet username and password
  • ISP information such as username and password
  • any port forwards or firewall settings you have made.

Reset the 100Fio Networks Station M5

With the 100Fio-Networks Station-M5 router turned on, take off the bottom cover. You should see something similar to the below image.

Now take the end of a paperclip or other like object and press and hold the Reset button for approximately 10 seconds.

Remember: This will erase all your previous settings. Do not do this until you have tried all other troubleshooting options first.

Login to the 100Fio Networks Station M5

Change Your Password
