This guide will take you through the steps in resetting your router. This is not the same thing as rebooting which is simply cycling the power by turning the router off and then back on again. Resetting your router will erase all of the changes you have made reverting it back to the original factory defaults.
Warning: This is going to erase everything you have done to your router in the past. Do not reset your router until you have exhausted all other troubleshooting options. Some things that will change are:
- the router's main username and password
- the Internet SSID and password
- ISP username and password
- firewall settings and port forwards

Reset the 3com 3CRWDR101A-75
While your router is turned on flip it over so you are looking at the back of it.
Take an unfolded paperclip or other small object and press and hold the reset button for a 5 second count.
