Configure your Computer to Have a Static IP Address

Forward a Port on the 3com 3CRWER100-75 router

Find The Port Forwarding Section of the 3com 3CRWER100-75

Now that you have finished logging into the 3Com 3CRWER100-75 you are taken to the Welcome page. From here, to begin the port forwarding process, click the choice on the left side of the screen labeled Firewall. Then at the top of the page, click the tab labeled Virtual Servers.

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

You should now be on the Virtual Server page of the 3Com 3CRWER100-75. In the first box under the heading of Application Name enter the name of the program that you are forwarding the ports for. It is not really important what you enter here, but we highly recommend entering something that will help you to remember why you are forwarding these ports.

In the next box to the right, if you are forwarding a single port, enter that port number in both the Start~ and End Port boxes. If you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the lowest number of the range in the box to the left labeled Start~ and the highest port number of the range in the box to the right labeled End Port.

Next, using the drop down menu, select the Protocol that you wish to use when forwarding these ports.

Now we have the To IP Address box. Enter the IP Address you are forwarding these ports to in this box. For example, if you are forwarding ports to run a particular program on your computer, be sure and use that computer's IP Address here.

Finally, place a check mark in the Enabled box.

That's it! Click the box labeled Save and you are finished!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports on the 3com 3CRWER100-75 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
