How to Reset the Actiontec GT784WN TDS

This guide is all about how to reset the Actiontec GT784WN TDS router back to factory defaults. This is not the same as rebooting the router which only means turning it off and back on again.

Warning: This erases everything you have previously done to your router. Don't do this unless you have taken the following into consideration:

  • The router's main username and password are reset to factory defaults.
  • The WiFi SSID and password are reset as well. These need to be reconfigured.
