Setup WiFi on the ADB DRG A1235G

Login To The ADB DRG A1235G

This takes you to a page like the one you see above. Scroll down until you see a Wireless section.

First, make sure you have a checkmark in the Enabled box.

Next, go ahead and enter a name for your network in the box labeled Wireless Network (SSID):. This is the name you give your network so you don't lose it. This name is visible to your neighbors so be aware. Learn more in our wireless names guide.

Go ahead and skip down to the Security section. The strongest security available is Password Protected (WPA). This is quite a bit weaker than WPA2. We strongly recommend updating your firmware so you can get the most secure form of security. Learn more about the differences in WPA and WPA2 in our guide titled WEP vs. WPA.

The last setting you should change to secure your network is the Pre-Shared Key. This is the password you use to access your Internet connection. It is also used in the encryption of your network and it's important that you create a strong password. Click Apply at the bottom of the page to save your changes. That's it you did it.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
