In this guide I will be showing you how to reset the AirLive WT-2000ARM router to factory defaults. This is not the same as rebooting the router which is turning it off and back on again. Resetting the router is a more drastic measure as it will erase all of the settings you have changed in the router.

Warning: Do not reset the router until you have tried other methods of troubleshooting. Resetting the router can cause problems if you are unaware of the setting a reset will affect.

  • The router username and password are reset to factory.
  • The WiFi username and password are reset as well.
  • If you have a DSL connection you need to reenter the ISP username and password.
  • All configurations such as firewalls, port forwards and even IP address changes are erased.
