In this guide we will talk about how to properly reset the Arcadyan VGV7519 router. Resetting a router is different than rebooting a router. Rebooting is cycling the power by turning it off and back on again. Resetting a router is almost as easy to do but has more consequences.

Warning: Resetting changes everything you have done to personalize this router. This can be a problem if you don't take into consideration what changes. Take a look at the list below for some of things that will be altered by this reset.

  • The router username and password are reverted to factory settings.
  • Your WiFi username/SSID and password are reset.
  • If you use a DSL connection the ISP (Internet Service Provider) username and password need to be entered in again. If you are unsure of this detail, check with your ISP.
  • All configurations such as firewalls, port forwards, and even IP address changes are erased. These need to be reconfigured after the reset is complete.
