Have you tried to login to the Get Get Box II router and are unable to do so. It might be time to consider a reset.

In this guide a reset is not the same thing as a reboot. When you reboot a router you cycle the power to the device. When you reset a router you take all the settings that have been changed and revert them back to how they were when they left the factory.

Warning: Resetting the Get Get Box II router is a big step and should not be taken lightly. We suggest creating a list of all the settings you have ever changed in the lifetime of this device such as:

  • The router's main username and password for the device.
  • The wireless information such as network name and password.
  • If this is a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP or Internet Service Provider username and password. Call your ISP for the details.
  • If you have ever done any port forwarding you should write this down to. Every setting you have ever changed is erased.

Don't forget that this reset is going to erase every single setting you have ever changed in the lifetime of this device. We strongly encourage you to try other methods of troubleshooting before you continue.

Login to the Get Get Box II

Now that you've reset the Get Get Box II router you'll need to log into it. Do this by using the factory default username and password provided for your use in our Login Guide.

Tip: Defaults not logging you in? It might be because the reset button wasn't held down for long enough.

Change Your Password

Once you've reset and logged into your router we recommend setting a new password for it. Keep in mind that this password will protect your router settings, not your wireless network. All the same, setting a strong password is always a good idea. For more help be sure to check out our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.

Tip: Prevent yourself from losing your new password by writing it on a slip of paper and taping it to the bottom of your router.
