On this page I will explain how to properly reset the Infomark IMW-C910W Libya router.

A reset is not the same thing as a reboot. When you reset a router you take all the settings and return them to factory defaults. When you reboot router you cycle the power to the unit. No settings are changed in a reboot.

Warning: A reset is a big step and should not be taken lightly. I strongly recommend making a list of all the possible settings you have changed in the past. These settings could be:

  • The router's main username and password.
  • The Wireless name and password.
  • Is this a DSL router? If so you need to re-enter the Internet Service Provider (ISP) username and password. Call your ISP for these details.
  • What other settings have you changed in the past? Make sure to write these down as well.

Reset the Infomark IMW-C910W Libya

Unfortunately I don't have an image of the reset button to show you on the Infomark IMW-C910W Libya router. Typically you can find the reset button on the side or back panel of the unit.

While the router is on, take a straightened paperclip and press down on the reset button for about 10 seconds. This should start the reset process. If you don't hold the reset button down for long enough you might end up only rebooting the router instead of resetting it like you planned.

Warning: DO NOT unplug or turn off the Infomark IMW-C910W Libya router during the reset process. Doing so will likely cause permanent damage to the unit.

Remember a reset like this one is going to completely erase all your personal settings. I strongly recommend trying other troubleshooting methods before you continue with this course of action.
