When setting up a home network, the most important device is the router. No matter which kind of connection to the internet you have, all of your devices in your home connect through your router. The first step to customizing your network is learning to configure your router.

How To Find Your BlackBox Routers IP Address

In order to login to your router, you need to know it's Internal IP Address. This can be confusing because all routers have 2 IP addresses: an Internal IP Address, and an External IP Address. Right now, you are only concerned with the Internal IP Address. If you do not know your routers Internal IP Address, you can do one of the following:

How To Find Your BlackBox Default Username and Password

You may need to try all combinations of usernames and passwords in your router. If you try all of the username/password combinations and still cannot get logged in, then the next step is to contact your ISP and see if they know.
