Thomson made the SpeedTouch DSL modems (first sold under the Alcatel name) and the Thomson Gateway TG series, such as the TG585, TG582n and TG789vn. ISPs like BT, O2, BigPond/Telstra, Orange and many others supplied them. Thomson also made cable gateways such as the TWG850, TWG870, TCW710 and DWG855T. In 2010 Thomson was renamed Technicolor. Default Thomson Login Details
- SpeedTouch and Thomson Gateway (DSL): http://192.168.1.254, or 10.0.0.138 on BigPond and Telstra versions. Username Administrator (or admin), with a blank password. ISP versions often have their own password on the label.
- Cable gateways: http://192.168.0.1. The username and password are usually blank, or admin / admin.

Note: these are old devices that no longer get updates. Set an admin password and use WPA2, or think about replacing them.
