Configure your Computer to Have a Static IP Address

Forward a Port on the Airlink 101 AR570W router

Find The Port Forwarding Section of the Airlink 101 AR570W

This guide begins on the Internet Connection page of the Airlink-101 AR570W. To forward a port, click the option in the left sidebar labeled Applications & Gaming. This opens a new set of choices, pick the one labeled Virtual Server.

Configure the Port Forwarding section of your Airlink 101 AR570W

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

You should now be on the Virtual Server page, like the one you see here.

  • Tick the small box labeled Enable Virtual Server.
  • Enter the LAN IP Address of the computer you are forwarding these ports to in the box labeled Private IP.
  • Enter the port that you plan on forwarding in the boxes labeled Private Port, and Public Port.
  • Use the Type drop down menu to choose the type of protocol you want to use when forwarding this port.
  • Farthest to the right is the Comment box. We suggest entering the name of the program you are forwarding this port for here. This is for your reference only.
  • Click the Add button
  • Then, at the very bottom of the page, click the APPLY button.
