Find Your Alcatel MW40 Router IP Address
In order to login to the Alcatel MW40 router, we need to know it's internal IP address.

If you do not find your router's interface later in this guide, then try a different IP address. Keep trying different IP addresses until you find your router. I will not hurt anything to try different IP addresses.

Login to the Alcatel MW40 Router
Your Alcatel MW40 router has a web interface. You need to use a web browser to manage it, such as Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
Enter Alcatel MW40 Internal IP Address
Type the internal IP address that you picked above in the address bar of your web browser. The address bar looks like this:
Press the Enter key on your keyboard. You will see a window asking for your Alcatel MW40 password.
Alcatel MW40 Default Username and Password
You must know your Alcatel MW40 username and password in order to log in. It's possible that the router's password is still set to the factory default. Below is a list of all known Alcatel MW40 default usernames and passwords.

Enter your username and password in the dialog box that pops up. Keep trying them all until you get logged in.

If things are not going right and you are unable to login to your router, then here are some other things that you can try.
Alcatel MW40 Password Doesn't Work
It's possible that your router's factory default password is different than what we have listed. It doesn't hurt to try all of the other known Alcatel passwords. Head over to our list of all Alcatel Passwords.
Forgot Password to Alcatel MW40 Router
If your ISP provided your router, then you may have to call them and ask them if they know how to login to your router. Sometimes they will have your password on file.
