In this guide we will show you how to reset the Axesstel MV430i router back to factory settings. This is not the same thing as rebooting a router. Rebooting is cycling the power by turning it off and back on again. Resetting is taking all your configurations and returning them to factory settings.
Warning: Be careful when resetting a router. Make a list of all the settings you know will be changed by this reset. Take the following into consideration.
- The router's username and password are restored to factory settings.
- The WiFi information such as SSID, password, and security are reset.
- If you use a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP username and password so you don't lose Internet connection.
- All configurations such as port forwards are erased.

Reset the Axesstel MV430i
