On this page we show you how to reset the BeWAN B13002 router back to it's original factory defaults. This is not the same thing as a reboot which simply cycles the power to the device. A reset takes all the settings and reverts them back to how they were from the factory.

Warning: Resetting this router is a big step. Make sure you understand what this means. Resetting a router means you need to reconfigure the device after this reset process is complete. Please consider the following:

  • The reset causes the router's main username and password to be reverted to factory settings.
  • This reset erases the Internet password you set and reverts all WiFi settings back to factory.
  • If you use a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP username and password. This username and password can be found by calling your local Internet Service Provider.
  • Any other settings such as IP address changes or port forwards are erased and need to be reconfigured.

If you know where the exact location of the BeWAN B13002 reset button is leave me a comment and I will update this page.

As you can tell from the image above the reset button is going to be very small and recessed to avoid accidentally resetting the router. Take a sharp pencil or pen and press down on the reset button for about 10 seconds. If you don't hold the reset button down for long enough you may end up simply rebooting the router instead of resetting it like you wanted to.

Understand that this reset is erasing all your personal configurations. You need to reconfigure the router after the reset is complete.
