Have you been trying to login to the Inteno X5668B router and been unable to do so? It might be time to consider a reset.

There is some confusion on the meaning of reset. When I use the term reset I do not mean a reboot. A reboot is simply a cycle in the power to the device. No settings are changed during a reboot. A reset takes all the settings you have changed, erases them, and reverts them back to factory defaults.

Warning: A reset like this one is going to erase every single setting you have ever changed in the lifetime of this device. We strongly recommend trying other methods of troubleshooting before you decide to reset. It's also a good idea to create a list of all the possible settings you may of changed in the past before attempting a reset. This will include the:

  • The router's main username and password.
  • The WiFi SSID and Internet password.
  • If this is a DSL router you need to re-enter the Internet Service Provider (ISP) username and password. Call your local ISP for these details.
  • Finally you need to write down any other settings you may of changed like port forwards or IP address changes.
