We have one IPSTAR model in our database, the Satellite Modem. It uses 192.168.5.100:8080/xWebGateway.cgi as the default IP address, and the default login is ADMIN / operator. Its default settings are below.
How to Log In to the IPSTAR Satellite Modem
- Connect a computer or phone to the router, with a network cable or over WiFi.
- Type http://192.168.5.100:8080/xWebGateway.cgi into your browser's address bar. If nothing loads, see How To Find Your Router's IP Address.
- Sign in with the default username and password from the table below (ADMIN / operator for this model).

If the Default Login Doesn't Work
Someone has probably changed the password. Check the label on the router, then factory reset it: with the router on, hold the Reset button (often a pinhole, so use a paperclip) for about 10 to 30 seconds, then let go. That puts back the default login above, and also erases your WiFi and Internet settings. See How To Reset Your Router.
