WiFi Terms
Before we get started there is a little bit of background info that you should be familiar with.
Wireless Name
Your wireless network needs to have a name to uniquely identify it from other wireless networks. If you are not sure what this means we have a guide explaining what a wireless name is that you can read for more information.
Wireless Password
An important part of securing your wireless network is choosing a strong password.
Wireless Channel
Picking a WiFi channel is not always a simple task. Be sure to read about WiFi channels before making the choice.
Encryption
You should almost definitely pick WPA2 for your networks encryption. If you are unsure, be sure to read our WEP vs WPA guide first.
Login To The Iskratel Innbox V60U
To get started configuring the Iskratel Innbox V60U WiFi settings you need to login to your router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Find the WiFi Settings on the Iskratel Innbox V60U
If you followed our login guide above then you should see this screen.
After a successful login to the Iskratel Innbox V60U router you should be on a page like the one seen here.
To change the WiFi settings you need to first click the option in the left sidebar labeled Wireless.
Then select the Basic option.
Change the WiFi Settings on the Iskratel Innbox V60U
On this page the first thing you want to do is make sure there is a checkmark in the box labeled Enable Wireless.
Then make sure the Country is correct.
On this page you can also change your SSID. First you want to put a check in the Enable VAP box.
To the right of that is the SSID. This is the wireless name you give your network. We recommend making it unique but avoiding personal and router specific information. Learn more in our How to Change your Wireless Name guide.
Once you have done that click the Apply/Save button.
Go back to the left sidebar and click the link titled Security.
On this new page use the Select SSID drop down list to choose the SSID you just created on the previous page.
Then, use the Network Authentication drop down menu to choose the type of security you want to use for your network. I recommend using WPA2-PSK. This is the strongest form of security available right now. Learn more in our WEP vs. WPA guide.
Below that is the WPA/WAPI passphrase. This is the Internet password. This password needs to be as strong as you can make it. It is recommended that you use at least 14 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. The more random this password appears to be the stronger it is. The last setting you need to change is the WPA/WAPI Encryption. I recommend setting this to AES.
Near the bottom of the page is a setting titled WPS. I strongly advise against using WPS if possible. Learn more in our What is WPS guide.
To save your changes click the Apply/Save button at the bottom of the page.
Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
