Setup WiFi on the Kasda KW5815A

Login To The Kasda KW5815A

Find the WiFi Settings on the Kasda KW5815A

We begin this wireless setup guide of the Kasda KW5815A router on the Device Info page. To start configuring your wireless settings, click Wireless on the left hand side of the page, and then Basic.

Change the WiFi Settings on the Kasda KW5815A

On this new page you'll set an SSID. This will be your network identification and can be anything you like. See our Wireless Names Guide for more information.

When you're happy with this setting, click Apply/Save at the bottom of the page.

Now click Security on the left hand side of the page.

Start by selecting the SSID you just created from the drop down menu labeled Select SSID.

Now be sure that the Network Authentication is set to WPA2 -PSK. Why is this the best option? Take a look at our WEP vs. WPA Guide to find out.

Now you need to set a password. A strong password consists of 14-20 characters and contains no personal information. Enter your desired password into the box marked WPA/WAPI passphrase. For more tips on creating a strong password, check out our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.

Finally, make sure that the WPA/WAPI Encryption is set to AES.

Congratulations! You're done. Just make sure to click Apply/Save before leaving the page.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
