In this article, you will learn how to reset your Linksys E7350 back to factory settings. A router reset is very different than a router reboot. Every time your router loses power it reboots. However, when you reset a router you, return it back to its factory default settings.
Warning: Before you continue, there are a few things you need to know. The following settings in your router will be changed:
- The router's login credentials are reset.
- All WiFi information such as network name, password, and authentication method are erased.
- Your ISP settings are reset, which means you will have to contact your ISP to get them back.
- All parental controls, firewall settings, and port forwards will be removed.
Resetting your router should be considered the last step. Before you reset your router, you may want to try recovering your router password with our Router Password Finder.

A router reset should be the last thing you try if you are unable to login.
Reset the Linksys E7350
There is usually a small reset button located on either the back or the bottom of a router. What you are looking for is something that looks like this:
Even though yours may look slightly different, you need to look for a tiny button. Sometimes the reset button is under a pinhole on the back of the router, and you need a paper clip to push it.
Watch the front panel lights while you hold the reset button down for at least 10 seconds. Notice how the lights on the front of the router are blinking. When the lights do something different, the router is reset. You can hold the button down as long as you like, it will not hurt anything.
Just don't forget that this will totally reset your Linksys E7350 router.

Login to the Linksys E7350

Change Your Password

Tip: Write your new password down on a post-it note and stick it to the bottom of your router.
