A factory reset puts your NetComm router back to its default settings.
Before You Reset
A reset erases your Internet settings (PPPoE username and password, VLAN, APN), WiFi settings and port forwards. Write them down, or get them from your ISP, before you start.
Method 1: The Reset Button
- With the router on, press and hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds, until the lights flash.
- Let go and wait about two minutes.
Method 2: Reset From the Web Interface
Log in and go to Management > Settings > Restore Default (on some models, System > Factory Reset). Click Restore Default Settings.
After the Reset
Log in with the defaults (see the NetComm login guide), run the setup wizard to get back online, and set up your WiFi.
