Login To The Plusnet Plusnet Hub One

Find the WiFi Settings on the Plusnet Plusnet Hub One

We begin this guide on the Home page of the Plusnet Plusnet Hub One router. To start off click Advanced Settings near the top of the page. From there click Wireless just beneath that.

Change the WiFi Settings on the Plusnet Plusnet Hub One

This brings you to the page presented above.

Click the 2.4 GHz Wireless option.

First you'll want to set a Wireless SSID. This will be your network name and can be anything you want it to be. However, due to security reasons we highly recommend avoiding the use of any personal information. To learn more take a look at our Wireless Names Guide.

After that open the drop down menu labeled Channel selection and choose either 1, 6, or 11. Want to know why these are the best options? Read our WiFi Channels Guide to find out.

The Security needs to be set to WPA2 Only (Recommended). This option will give you the strongest security. For more information check out our WEP vs. WPA Guide.

Lastly you'll need to set the Wireless key (WPA2). This can be whatever you like, however keep in mind that a strong password contains no personal information and is 14-20 characters in length. For more help be sure to visit our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
