Once you have logged into the Siemens Gigaset-SE572 router, you are taken to the main page of your router. To configure the wireless settings, click the option in the left sidebar labeled Wireless Network.

On this page, click the On option. This should open up some new settings. The first is the Channel. Make sure you are using channels 1,6, or 11. Find out why this is important in our WiFi Channels Guide.

Click the orange OK button then go back to the left sidebar and click the option of Encryption & Authentication.

You are now on the internet security page of your router.

After you have made this choice, you are asked to enter a passphrase or pre-shared key. This is the internet password and should be made strong. Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
