A factory reset puts your Sitecom router back to its default settings.
Before You Reset
A reset erases your WiFi settings and Internet login. Write down your ISP details (PPPoE username and password, VPI/VCI for ADSL) first.
Method 1: The Reset Button
- With the router on, press and hold the Reset button on the back for about 10 seconds.
- Let go and wait about two minutes.
Method 2: Reset From the Web Interface
Log in, go to Toolbox > Reset to Factory Defaults (or Toolbox > Configuration Tools), and click Reset.
After the Reset
Log in with admin / admin, or the label password (see the Sitecom login guide). Then re-enter your Internet settings and set up your WiFi.
