Find Your Sonicwall TZ-205 Router IP Address
Before you can log in to your Sonicwall TZ-205 router, you need to figure out it's internal IP address.

You may have to try using a few different IP addresses from the list above. Just pick one and then follow the rest of this guide.
If you do not find your router's interface later in this guide, then try a different IP address. Keep trying different IP addresses until you find your router. I will not hurt anything to try different IP addresses.
If, after trying all of the above IP addresses, you still cannot find your router, then do one of the following:
- Follow our guide called Find Your Router's Internal IP Address.
- Use our free software called Router Detector.
Now that you have your router's internal IP Address, we are ready to login to it.
Login to the Sonicwall TZ-205 Router
Your Sonicwall TZ-205 router has a web interface. In order to log in to it, you need to use a web browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
Enter Sonicwall TZ-205 Internal IP Address
Either copy/paste or type the internal IP address of your Sonicwall TZ-205 router into the address bar of your web browser. The address bar looks like this:
Press the Enter key on your keyboard. A window will show asking for your Sonicwall TZ-205 password.
Sonicwall TZ-205 Default Username and Password
In order to login to your Sonicwall TZ-205 you are going to need to know your username and password. If you are not sure what the username and password are, then perhaps they are still set to the factory defaults. Here is a list of all known factory default usernames and passwords for the Sonicwall TZ-205 router.

In the window that pops up, enter your username and password. Keep trying them all until you get logged in.

If you cannot get logged in to your router, here a few possible solutions you can try.
Sonicwall TZ-205 Password Doesn't Work
It's possible that your router's factory default password is different than what we have listed. Be sure to try other Sonicwall passwords. We have a large list of all Sonicwall Passwords that you can try.
Forgot Password to Sonicwall TZ-205 Router
If your ISP provided your router, then you may have to call them and ask them if they know how to login to your router. Sometimes they will have your password on file.
How to Reset the Sonicwall TZ-205 Router To Default Settings
If you still cannot get logged in, then you are probably going to have to reset your router to its default settings. If all else fails and you are unable to login to your router, then you may have to reset it to its factory default settings.
