If you need to reset your Swisscom Internet-Box 3 router back to factory settings, then this article shows you how. This is not the same thing as rebooting a router. Reset the Swisscom Internet-Box 3
Usually there is a reset button located on the back or bottom of a router. What you are looking for is something that looks like this:
Reset buttons are usually tiny. Yours may look slightly different than this. Sometimes the button is under a pinhole, and you need a paper clip to push it.
Keep an eye on the lights on the front of your router while holding the reset button down for about 10 seconds. After a few seconds the lights should blink differently. When this happens, the reset is complete. Do not worry about holding the button down too long; this is harmless.
