Reset the Telewell TW-EA310

This article covers how to reset the Telewell TW-EA310 router back to factory default settings. This is not the same thing as rebooting a router. Turning a router off and back on again causes a reboot. This is different from a reset because a reset completely erases all settings from the router.

Warning: Make sure that you fully understand the following before resetting your router. When you reset your router, the following will happen.

  • The router's login and password are reset.
  • All WiFi settings are reset, including network name and password.
  • Any ISP settings saved in your router will be removed. You may have to contact your ISP.
  • All parental controls, firewall settings, and port forwards will be removed.

A router reset should be considered the last resort when you cannot log in to your router any other way. Make sure that you have tried to recover your router password using our Router Password Finder first.

Reset the Telewell TW-EA310

Most routers have a small button on either the back or the bottom. Look at your router and try to find something that looks like this:

Even though yours may look slightly different, you need to look for a tiny button. You may need a paper clip to push the reset button.

Watch the lights on the front of your router and hold the reset button down for about 10 seconds. After a few seconds the lights should blink differently. When this happens, the reset is complete. It is harmless to hold the reset button too long.

Remember, this will erase everything you have previously done to this Telewell TW-EA310 router.

Login to the Telewell TW-EA310

Change Your Password
