This article covers how to reset the Teltonika RUT955 LTE router back to factory default settings. A router reset is very different than a router reboot. Rebooting a router is simply turning it off and back on again. This is very different from a reset, which erases a router completely and returns it to factory default settings.
Warning: Make sure that you fully understand the following before resetting your router. The following settings will be changed in your router:
- The router's login credentials are reset to factory defaults.
- Your WiFi login, password, and network name are reset.
- Your ISP settings are reset, which means you will have to contact your ISP to get them back.
- Any parental controls, firewall settings, or port forwards will be removed.

Reset the Teltonika RUT955 LTE
Most of the time you can find a small reset button located on either the back or the bottom of a router. Look for something that looks like this:
Yours may look slightly different, but they are usually tiny. You may need a paper clip to push the reset button.
Keep an eye on the lights on the front of your router while holding the reset button down for about 10 seconds. The blinking pattern of the lights on the front of the router should change when the reset is complete. Do not be concerned about holding the reset button down too long. It will not hurt anything.
Remember, this will totally reset your Teltonika RUT955 LTE router.

Login to the Teltonika RUT955 LTE
