This is the reset guide for the Tenda FH303 router. This is not the same thing as rebooting a router. Unplugging a router from the wall reboots it. However, when you reset a router you, return it back to its factory default settings.
Warning: Proceed with caution; resetting your router can be a major headache. The following settings will be changed in your router:
- The router's username and password are reset to factory defaults.
- All WiFi login information and network names are reset.
- All ISP settings will reset to default, and you may have to contact your ISP.
- All parental controls, firewall settings, and port forwards will be removed.
A router reset is the last step you should take in recovering your router's password. Before you reset your router, you may want to try recovering your router password with our Router Password Finder.

Reset the Tenda FH303
Usually there is a reset button located on the back or bottom of a router. Most reset buttons look like this:
Even though yours may look slightly different, you need to look for a tiny button. You might find a pinhole on the back of the router that requires a paper clip to push the button hidden under it.
Watch the lights on the front of your router and hold the reset button down for about 10 seconds. Notice how the lights on the front of the router are blinking. When the lights do something different, the router is reset. It is harmless to hold the reset button too long.
Just don't forget that this will totally reset your Tenda FH303 router.
