In this article, you will learn how to reset your TP-Link Archer C59 back to factory settings. This is not the same thing as rebooting a router. Rebooting a router is simply turning it off and back on again. However, when you reset a router you, return it back to its factory default settings.
Warning: Make sure that you fully understand the following before resetting your router. The following settings will be changed in your router:
- The router's login and password are reset to factory defaults.
- All WiFi login information and network names are reset.
- If your router has any ISP settings they will be removed, and you will have to contact your ISP.
- All port forwards, firewall settings, and parental controls that you have configured will be removed.
Since a router reset is such a drastic step, it should only be done as a last resort when you cannot recover your router's password using any other methods. Before you reset your router, you may want to try recovering your router password with our Router Password Finder.

Recover Password in TP-Link Archer C59

Reset the TP-Link Archer C59
Most routers have a small button on either the back or the bottom. Most reset buttons look like this:
Your reset button may look different, but usually they are very small. You may need a paper clip to push the reset button.
Hold the reset button down for 10 seconds and watch the lights. Notice how the lights on the front of the router are blinking. When the lights do something different, the router is reset. You can hold the button down as long as you like, it will not hurt anything.
Remember, this will erase everything you have previously done to this TP-Link Archer C59 router.

Login to the TP-Link Archer C59

Change Your Password

Tip: Write your new password down on a note and tape it to the bottom of your router for future reference.
