This guide begins on the Home page of the Verizon Novatel MiFi 5510L router. To start off click Jetpack Settings on the left hand side of the page. From there click the tab labeled Wi-Fi.

Change the WiFi Settings on the Verizon Novatel MiFi 5510L

You should be taken to the page seen above.

Begin by making sure the Wi-Fi option is set to On.

Now you'll need to set a Wi-Fi name. This will be your network identification and can be whatever you want. Due to security reasons, however, we highly recommend avoiding the use of any personal information. To learn more visit our Wireless Names Guide.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
