Encryption

Login To The Western Digital MyNet N750
To get started configuring the Western Digital MyNet N750 WiFi settings you need to login to your router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Find the WiFi Settings on the Western Digital MyNet N750
If you followed our login guide above then you should see this screen.
We begin this wireless setup guide on the Home page of the Western-Digital MyNet-N750 router. To start configuring your wireless settings, click Advanced Settings at the top of the page. Then go to Wireless, then Wireless Setup.
Change the WiFi Settings on the Western Digital MyNet N750
This takes you to a new page.
We'll be focusing in the section labeled Wireless 2.4Ghz.
Start by entering your desired network name into the box marked Network Name (SSID). A wireless name can be anything you like, though we recommend avoiding any personal information. For more info on wireless network names, check out our guide.
Now make sure the Security Mode is set to WPA2-Personal. Why is this important? See our WEP vs. WPA Guide.
Be sure enter your desired password into the box mared Password. A strong password consists of 14-20 characters and contains no personal information. For more helpful tips on creating a strong password, follow our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.

Finally, click Save when you're happy with these settings.
Congratulations! You're finished.
Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
