You should be taken to a new page.

Start off by setting a Network Name (SSID). This can be anything you want it to be, however due to security reasons we highly suggest avoiding the use of any personal information. For more help be sure to visit our Wireless Names Guide.

After that make sure that the WPA2-PSK option is set to Enabled. This will provide you with the best security. For more information check out our WEP vs. WPA Guide.

Next set the WPA/WPA2 Encryption to AES.

Now you'll need to set a WPA Pre-Shared Key. This can be whatever you like, however bear in mind that a strong password consists of 14-20 characters and includes no personal information. For more help take a look through our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.

Finally, make sure the drop down menu labeled Automatic Security Configuration is set to Disabled. Why is this important? Read our What is WPS Guide to learn more.

Congratulations! You're done. Just don't forget to click Apply before leaving the page.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
