Configure your Computer to Have a Static IP Address

Login To The 100Fio Networks Station M5

Forward a Port on the 100Fio Networks Station M5 router

Find The Port Forwarding Section of the 100Fio Networks Station M5

Once you have logged into the 100Fio-Networks Station-M5 you begin on the Status screen of the router. Click the tab named Virtual Server at the top of the page.

Configure the Port Forwarding section of your 100Fio Networks Station M5

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

This takes you to the Virtual Server Setup page. Make sure that the dot labeled Virtual Server is enabled. Next, enter the name of the program into the Description box. The name that you write in this box should remind you of why these ports are being forwarded.

Enter the IP Address that you are forwarding these ports to in the Private IP box. If you are forwarding ports to run a program on your computer, you need to enter the computer's ip address in this box.

Next, choose the protocol type by either clicking the dot labeled TCP or UDP. If you need both, a duplicate configuration is needed, the first should have TCP selected and the second should be UDP.

Enter the port that is to be forwarded into the Private Port and the Public Port boxes. You are finished, the only thing left is click the Save button.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports on the 100Fio Networks Station M5 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
