Setup WiFi on the 100Fio Networks Station M5

Find the WiFi Settings on the 100Fio Networks Station M5

From the System Overview page of the 100Fio-Networks Station-M5 router click the link at the top, in black, labeled Wireless. Then under that choose Virtual AP Setup.

On this new page go the right side and click Edit next to Primary AP.

Change the WiFi Settings on the 100Fio Networks Station M5

This takes you to a page like the one you see above. In the space titled SSID enter the network name you want to use. This acts as your network ID and should be unique and memorable to you. Try not to use any personal information here. Learn more in this Wireless Name Guide.

Set the Cipher Type to AES.

Then under that enter a new Pre-Shared Key. This is the password you use to access your Internet. This should be strong so you don't get any freeloaders on your Internet. Check out this Password Guide for great tips on how to create a strong and memorable password.

When you are done click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
