This page will take you through the steps on how to reset your 3Com 3CRWER100-75 router back to it's original factory defaults. This is not the same as rebooting the router which is turning it off and then back on again to cycle the power. Resetting your router erases all your personal configurations and it will revert to default settings.
Warning: Resetting your router can cause some problems you may not have thought of for instance:
- The main router username and password will return to it's original factory defaults
- Your Internet username/SSID and password will be reset as well and need to personalized as soon as possible.
- If your ISP requires a username and password to use the Internet you will need to re-enter these as well.
- Everything you have done to your router including firewalls, and port forwards will be erased. You will need to reconfigure these.

Reset the 3com 3CRWER100-75
While the router is turned on go ahead and flip it over so you are looking at the back of it.
Use a pen or unfolded paperclip to press and hold the Reset button for approximately 10 seconds.
This wipes the router of all your configurations. You will need to reconfigure everything after this completes the reset.
