In this guide I will show you how to reset the Arris BGW210-700 ATT router back to it's original factory defaults. This is not a reboot. If you need to reboot a router simply unplug the device for about 30 seconds and plug it back in. A reset erases all your personalized settings and returns everything back to factory defaults.
Warning: Resetting a router is a big step. You need to fully reconfigure the device afterwards. Some of the settings that need to be changed after a reset are:
- The router's login username and password.
- The router's Wi-Fi SSID/network name and password.
- If this is a DSL router, you need to re-enter the ISP (Internet Service Provider) username and password. Call your ISP for these details.
- Any port forwarding, scheduling, or IP addresses you have changed.

Reset the Arris BGW210-700 ATT
To find the reset button on the Arris BGW210-700 ATT router, turn the device around so you are looking at the back panel.
Take a small sharp object and press down on the reset button for about 10 seconds while the router is on. This begins the reset process which can take several minutes or more to complete.
