This guide shows you exactly how to login to the Asus RT-AC1200 router.

Before you can log in to your Asus RT-AC1200 router, you need to figure out it's internal IP address.

Start with the first IP address in the list and then follow the rest of this guide.

If later on in this guide you do not find your router using the IP address that you pick, then you can try different IP addresses until you get logged in. I will not hurt anything to try different IP addresses.

Now that you have your router's internal IP Address, we are ready to login to it.

The Asus RT-AC1200 is managed through a web-based interface. You need to use a web browser to manage it, such as Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.

Type the internal IP address that you picked above in the address bar of your web browser. The address bar will look like this:

Press the Enter key on your keyboard. You will see a window asking for your Asus RT-AC1200 password.

In order to login to your Asus RT-AC1200 you are going to need to know your username and password. Just in case the router's username and password have never been changed, you may want to try the factory defaults. All of the default usernames and passwords for the Asus RT-AC1200 are listed below.

Put your username and password in the appropriate boxes. You can try them all.

You should now see the Asus RT-AC1200 home Screen, which looks similar to this:

If your Internet Service Provider supplied you with your router, then you might want to try giving them a call and see if they either know what your router's username and password are, or maybe they can reset it for you.
