This article covers how to reset the Asus RT-AX92U router back to factory default settings. A router reset is a much bigger deal than a router reboot. A reboot happens every time a router loses power. However, when you reset a router you, return it back to its factory default settings.
Warning: Proceed with caution; resetting your router can be a major headache. When you reset your router, the following will happen.

Reset the Asus RT-AX92U
On most routers you can find a small button on the back or the bottom labeled reset. Look for something that looks like this:
Even though yours may look slightly different, you need to look for a tiny button. Sometimes the button is under a pinhole, and you need a paper clip to push it.
Watch the front panel lights while you hold the reset button down for at least 10 seconds. The blinking pattern of the lights on the front of the router should change when the reset is complete. Keep holding the button as long as you want, it will not hurt anything to hold it down too long.
Remember, this will erase everything you have previously done to this Asus RT-AX92U router.
