Belkin sold home routers for many years: the F5D, F7D and F9K series, and the N, N+, N600, N750, AC and Play Max models. Belkin has since left the router business, but plenty of its routers are still in use. These guides show you how to log in, reset them and keep them secure.

The Belkin Interface
Most Belkin routers have the same Router Setup interface. It has a menu down the left (LAN Setup, Internet WAN, Wireless, Firewall, Utilities) and Home, Help and Login/Logout links at the top. You click Login before you can change anything. The last AC models have a newer dashboard with an Advanced Settings menu.
Default Belkin Login Details
Belkin routers are at 192.168.2.1, or http://router on many models. Most have no password: leave the box empty and click Submit. Some Australian ADSL models use 10.1.1.1. See the Belkin passwords and Belkin IP address pages.
A note on security: Belkin no longer releases firmware updates for most of its routers. If yours is still in use, set a strong admin password and WPA2 WiFi, and think about replacing it.
