On this page we will show you how to reset the Binatone WR1500N router back to factory defaults. It is important to know that this is different than a reboot. Rebooting a router is cycling the power to the device by unplugging the power, waiting about 30 seconds, then plugging the power back in. On the other hand a reset takes all the settings and reverts every one of them back to factory defaults.

Tip: Resetting a router can cause even more problems for you if you don't know what settings will be changed. We recommend making a list of the settings that you know will be changed. We have started the list for you:

  • The router's main username and password
  • The Internet ID and password
  • If you use DSL you need to re-enter the ISP username and password. This information can be obtained by calling your Internet Service Provider.
  • Have you made any other changes to the router's interface? Have you forwarded any ports? Have you changed your DNS settings or router's IP address?
