How to Reset the Digisol DG-BR4000NE

Have you tried to login to the Digisol DG-BR4000NE router unsuccessfully? It might be time to consider a reset. A reset like the one you will doing is not a reboot. When I reboot is done the router is simply turned off, and back on again. A reset is a complete factory restore of all the settings. Any setting you have ever changed is erased and reverted back to factory defaults.

Warning: Resetting this device is a big step and should not be taken lightly. We strongly recommend creating a list of settings you may of changed in the past. This should include the:

  • router username and password
  • WiFi information such as SSID and Internet password
  • ISP (Internet Service Provider) username and password if this is a DSL router. You have to call your ISP for these details.
  • Have you changed any port forwards or IP addresses during the lifetime of this router? All of these should be written down so you don't forget.

As you can see from the image below I have found the reset button for the Digisol DG-BR4000NE router. This is the rear panel of the Digisol DG-BR4000NE router. Locate the rest button on the router you are about to reset.

While the router is on, take a straightened paperclip and press down on the button for about 10 seconds. This begins the reset process. The whole process could take a couple of minutes.

Don't forget that this reset erases every single setting you have ever changed on this device. We strongly recommend trying other troubleshooting methods first.
