With this guide I will be showing you how to reset the Dlink DAP-1350 router back to it's original factory defaults. This is not the same thing as a reboot. A reboot is a cycle in the power to the device. A reset is a complete restore back to factory defaults.

Warning: Resetting the Dlink DAP-1350 router can be a problem if you don't understand what it will do. Consider the following before you continue:

  • The router's main username and password are erased and restored to factory defaults.
  • The Internet name and password are also reverted back to factory defaults.
  • If this is a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP username and password so you don't lose Internet connection. Call your Internet Service Provider for the details.
  • If you have ever made any other changes to this router you need to write them down so you can re-configure them after the reset is complete.
