A factory reset puts your DrayTek Vigor router back to its default settings and default login.
Before You Reset
Back up the configuration first under System Maintenance > Configuration Backup. A reset erases your Internet login, VPNs, firewall rules, WiFi and port forwards.
Method 1: The Factory Reset Button
- With the router on, press and hold the Factory Reset button for about 5 to 10 seconds, until the ACT light starts blinking quickly.
- Let go and wait about a minute while the router restarts.
Method 2: Reset From the Web Interface
Log in and go to System Maintenance > Reboot System. Choose Using factory default configuration, then click Reboot Now.
After the Reset
Log in at http://192.168.1.1 with the defaults (see the DrayTek login guide), restore your backup or run the Quick Start Wizard, and set up your WiFi.
