Have you tried to login to the EnGenius ESR-9753 router and been unable to? Have you have tried all the possible default passwords and still can't seem to login? You may need to reset the EnGenius ESR-9753 router. This reset is not the same thing as a reboot. When you reboot this router it simply cycles the power to the unit, changing nothing. When you reset this router you take all the changed settings and reverts every one of them back to how they were from the factory.

Warning: This erases every single setting you have ever changed on this device. You need to try all other options before deciding to reset the EnGenius ESR-9753 router. It is helpful to make a list of all possible settings you have changed in the past such as:

  • The router's main username and password.
  • WiFi information such as network name and Internet password.
  • If this is a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP (Internet Service Provider) username and password. If you don't do this you won't be able to use the Internet. Call your local ISP for the details.
  • Don't forget changes such as port forwards and IP addresses.
