How to Reset the FRITZ BOX Fon WLAN 7570

This guide covers how to reset the AVM FRITZ-Box-Fon-WLAN-7570 back to factory defaults. There is some confusion between the words reboot and reset. A reboot refers to the cycling of power to the device. You do this by turning it off and back on again. Resetting is referring to reverting all configurations back to factory settings.

Warning: Resetting this device should only be done if you know what to expect. We recommend making a list of all the settings that you have changed at some point in the past. Consider the following as you make that list.

  • The web interface username and password are returned to factory settings.
  • The WiFi SSID/username and password are also reverted back to factory defaults.

  • Any and all of the settings you changed are erased and put back to default. This could include port forwards, IP address changes, or even parental controls.
