Have you tried to login to the Hawking HWRN1A router and been unsuccessful? It might be time to reset the Hawking HWRN1A router.

In this guide when I refer to a reset I am not talking about a reboot. When I use the term reboot I am referring to a cycle in the power to the unit. When I use the term reset I am referring to a complete factory restore of all the settings.

Warning: Resetting this router is a big step and should not be taken lightly. We suggest creating a list of all the settings you may of changed in the past such as:

  • The router's main username and password.
  • The wireless username and Internet password.
  • If this is a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP (Internet Service Provider) username and password. Call your local ISP for these details.
  • Write down any other changes such as port forwards or IP address changes.
