If you have tried to login to the Huawei B315s-22 Zain router and been unsuccessful you may need to consider a reset. This is not the same thing as a reboot. When you reboot a router you cycle the power to the unit. A reset is where you take all the settings and return them all to factory defaults. This means every single setting you have ever changed on this device is erased and reverted back to the way it was when it left the factory.

Warning: A reset is a big step and should not be taken lightly. There are many things that need to be taken into consideration before you continue such as:

  • The router's main username and password are returned to how they were from the factory.
  • The WiFi information is erased and reverted back to how it was from the factory as well. This includes the SSID, encryption type and the Internet password.
  • If this is a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP (Internet Service Provider) username and password. You need to call your local ISP for these details.
  • If you have ever made any other changes on the router you need to write them down so you don't forget to reconfigure them back to factory defaults.

Reset the Huawei B315s-22 Zain

Unfortunately I don't have an exact image to show you where the reset button is on the Huawei B315s-22 Zain router. However, according to my research it appears to be under the battery after you take the back cover off. If you are holding the Huawei B315s-22 Zain upright it would be in the upper right corner. Remember the reset button you are looking for may look like a pinhole. This is to avoid accidental resets.
