If after several tries you are still unable to login to the Huawei B593v2 router you may need to consider a reset.
Be aware that when I use the term reset I do not mean a reboot. When you reboot a router you cycle the power to the unit. When you reset a router you take all the settings and return every single one of them back to how they were from the factory.
Warning: This reset erases every single setting you have ever changed on the Huawei B593v2 router. Some of the settings that will be affected are:
- The router's main username and password.
- The wireless information such as SSID and Internet password.
- If this is a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP (Internet Service Provider) username and password. You need to call your local ISP for these details.
- Have you forwarded any ports or changed any IP addresses? These are also erased.
