Login To The Huawei B593v2
To get started configuring the Huawei B593v2 WiFi settings you need to login to your router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Find the WiFi Settings on the Huawei B593v2
If you followed our login guide above then you should see this screen.
On the Overview page of the Huawei B593v2 router, we begin our wireless setup guide. To start off, click WiFi near the top of the page, and then WiFi Settings in the left hand sidebar.
Change the WiFi Settings on the Huawei B593v2

Now you need to set a Password. A strong password contains no personal information and is between 14-20 characters in length. Check out our Choosing a Strong Password Guide for more information.

After that, open the drop down menu labeled WPA Encryption and select AES.
Congratulations! That's all there is to it. Just don't forget to Submit these changes before leaving the page.
Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
